Congratulations on being aware you’ll need to work on this!

People are busy. There are always too many things to do, and your health can easily be forgotten and left to do what it can by itself.

For you to be aware you need to work on your body and mind to have a great next few decades puts you in front of most.

What do you feel you need to change? Exercise? Nutrition? Both?

  • When you take some time to dissect your day you might find all those essential things that must happen are about as essential as the two morning flat whites. Part of what we do is help to find a way to free up some time to make daily exercise possible.

  • Gyms changed the way we look at exercise. Exercise is an hour down the gym, plus getting there. Plus the shower. Two hours of your day. It doesn’t have to be that way though. We can work with you on solutions that suit your lifestyle.

I fixed my stoop waiting for the kumara to cook. I had a hernia 10 years ago that I fixed with 2-minute stretching sessions. Against the wall. Any wall that was convenient.

  • As Henry Ford said, “most people give up just when they are on the verge of success”. Our aim is to support you over that hump where it is all-too-hard to the point where exercise is a shining light that makes the rest of your days' work.

  • Believe it or not, you can like exercise. It can be more relaxing than the latest Netflix offering. It can expunge guilt. There’s nothing like sitting down to a beer when stuffed. You’ve done it. You added five reps to your Max Out. You might pay for it tomorrow, but right now, time to relax!

  • The most effective antioxidant known to humans? It’s free. Exercise. The most protective factor against dementia? A strong handgrip. The second-most protective factor? A low carb diet. The best protection against falls in old age? Strength training. Reduce blood pressure and increase bone density? Strength training. The list goes on….

There is a lot to be said to being able to swivel yourself out of the car without having to rely on the support of the steering wheel and door frame.
